20-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty

Dowell Plumbing Gas Air provides a limited workmanship warranty for 20 years from Practical Completion on eligible permanent installation and repair work performed by us.

The warranty covers proven defects caused by our failure to perform eligible permanent installation or repair work with reasonable care and skill.

It does not generally cover product or manufacturer defects, normal wear and tear, consumable components, corrosion, scale, water quality, misuse, accidental damage, inadequate maintenance, unrelated blockages, pre-existing work, work not performed by Dowell, customer-supplied goods, interference by others, temporary repairs or damage caused by external events.

Customers must notify Dowell of a potential claim and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify the affected work before it is altered or repaired by another contractor, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or significant property damage.

The warranty is subject to the complete Terms and Conditions supplied with the customer's quote or contract.

This voluntary warranty is additional to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

10% Seniors Discount

Where offered, a seniors discount may be available on eligible work. Full eligibility and conditions — including who qualifies, accepted identification, whether it applies to labour, materials or the total invoice, whether it applies to emergency or after-hours work, whether it can be combined with another offer, and any maximum — are confirmed by Dowell and supplied with your quote. Please mention the discount when requesting your quote, before approving any price.
