These terms govern your use of the Dowell Plumbing, Gas & Air website, operated by Dowell Network Pty Ltd.

Enquiries & bookings
Submitting the online form is a booking request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to confirm the details, timing and next step before attending. We do not guarantee a specific appointment time or response time.
Offers and customer discounts
We offer $55 off when you book online, a 10% discount for seniors and pensioners, and 10% off quoted work for returning customers and referrals. Bookings arranged following a callback request submitted through our website also qualify for the $55 online discount.
Seniors and pensioners: available to customers aged 60 or over, or holders of a valid pension or concession card. Returning customers and referrals: available if you have used our service before, or were referred by a friend — please quote your friend's name when booking.
Only one promotional offer or discount applies per customer, per job. Where you qualify for more than one, we apply the offer that provides the greatest saving. Discounts cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.
Please tell us when booking if you qualify for a seniors, returning-customer or referral discount. The applicable saving will be confirmed in your quote before you approve the work.
Free onsite quotes
During normal business hours, we charge $0 to attend your property, carry out a visual inspection and provide a quote, with no obligation to proceed. This offer does not include diagnostic work, testing, dismantling or repairs. If chargeable investigation or work is required, we will explain the price and obtain your approval before starting. After-hours attendance and work are excluded; applicable charges will be explained before the appointment is confirmed.
Same-day service
We aim to offer same-day attendance wherever possible. Availability depends on your location, our schedule and the work required, particularly during busy periods. We will confirm the available appointment time with you when arranging your booking.
Like-for-like quote review
If you have a written quote for the same work under equivalent conditions, you are welcome to share it with us. We will review the scope, materials and conditions and may agree to match the price at our discretion. Any agreed price match will be confirmed in writing before you approve the work.
Intellectual property
All content, branding and imagery on this site are owned by or licensed to Dowell Network Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information provided on this website.
20-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
Dowell Plumbing, Gas & Air provides a limited workmanship warranty for 20 years from Practical Completion on eligible permanent installation and repair work performed by us.
The warranty covers proven defects caused by our failure to perform eligible permanent installation or repair work with reasonable care and skill.
It does not generally cover product or manufacturer defects, normal wear and tear, consumable components, corrosion, scale, water quality, misuse, accidental damage, inadequate maintenance, unrelated blockages, pre-existing work, work not performed by Dowell, customer-supplied goods, interference by others, temporary repairs or damage caused by external events.
Customers must notify Dowell of a potential claim and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify the affected work before it is altered or repaired by another contractor, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or significant property damage.
The warranty is subject to the complete Terms and Conditions supplied with the customer's quote or contract.
This voluntary warranty is additional to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

10% Seniors & Pensioner Discount
We offer a 10% discount on eligible quoted work for customers aged 60 or over and for holders of a valid pension or concession card. As set out under Offers and customer discounts above, only one promotional offer or discount applies per customer, per job, and where you qualify for more than one we apply the greatest saving. Discounts cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.
Please mention the discount when requesting your quote; the applicable saving is confirmed in your quote before you approve any work. Full eligibility conditions are supplied with your quote.
